Principle of dipping/flooding
Flood cleaning is advisable for cleaning workpieces with a complex geometry and in the case of very high soiling. In this case, the workpieces to be cleaned are flooded for an adjustable time. The adhering dirt is dissolved by the cleaning medium, water or a specially matched hydrocarbon mixture. After a certain period of this flood cleaning, spray cleaning is connected automatically. The pump pumps the wash water that has been heated to a temperature of approx. 70 °C at high pressure into a spray system. The razor-sharp jet positively peels off the dirt.
